Activities/Fellowship
The members of Knob Creek Church participate in both church and charge-wide events and activities. Many opportunities for fellowship are planned throughout the year.
United Methodist Women: Women of Knob Creek Church enjoy the opportunity to meet monthly for programs related to service, mission, and spiritual/personal growth. The women support various mission projects. The meetings are held on Wednesday evenings at the church following the second Sunday of the month. The women also host socials for the whole church to attend and enjoy together.
Greeting Card Ministry: Greeting cards signed by the church membership are sent to members of the church, the charge, and/or the community known to be sick, shut-in or bereaved. Cards are also sent to members celebrating birthdays, anniversaries or other special events.
Methodist Men: Men from Knob Creek join men from other churches for monthly breakfast meetings held on the second Sunday morning of each month. Meetings begin at 8 a.m. in the St. Peter's UMC Fellowhip Hall. The group holds several fundraisers during the year. They also sponsor a Community Breakfast each Christmas Eve.
Prayer Shawl Ministry: Women from the Belwood Charge and the community gather each Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Kadesh UMC Fellowship Building to crochet shawls. These shawls are given to people who are in need of comfort and support.
